Thank you everyone for all your good thoughts, cards, flowers and wishes. Your support has meant a lot to me me and I really appreciate it. Knowing how many friends I have and how good you all are to me has helped me recover.I am going to rest this week and try to get some strength. The following week my stiches come out and I start seven-weeks of chemotherapy along with radiation.
While the volume of phone calls makes me feel wonderful, it is hard to keep up with. Please give me a week of rest and in the meantime, post notes or send me e-mails.

Michele, it's so great to know you're online now. I put a card in the mail to you on Friday, and I've resisted calling because I know you don't need your phone ringing 24/7. Everyone is looking forward to when you're ready for visits and trips out for a coffee or a bite to eat. (We all know the huge amounts of food you eat!) I think of you many times a day, my friend. Joanna Robinson also sends her best wishes. She's been in Italy for the last week or so, but she's been following your progress on this site and asking me for news.
